Group Therapy

COMING SOON!

In group therapy you can expect to walk into a supportive, and understanding environment. A safe place, where you can grow individually and together. While in this welcoming environment, you will learn healthy skills to add to your daily life, your trained therapist/group facilitator will create a safe space for you to talk and connect. You can expect to walk away with healthy coping skills, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal strengths/awakenings, mindfulness techniques, and healthy communication.

Show up to this welcoming safe space as you are, and connect with others who are in a similar situation of life, or experiencing similar situations/feelings. Group therapy offers a sense of connection and community. You can take comfort in knowing that you’re not alone in what you’re facing and feeling, as the goal of group therapy is to be encouraged through the collective shared experiences. All groups that are ran will be closed groups (meaning the attendees will all sign a waiver to keep confidentiality within the group, and it will be the same individuals each week).

We are able to offer this service in person, but understand that some may want to join online as life can be hectic. We can accommodate both! We welcome you to reach out at vanessalewiscounselling@gmail.com or 705-706-4240 for more information or to enroll yourself in one of our groups!
